What does it mean in practice?

With the recent European Data Protection Board (EDPB) opinion, Europrivacy is now recognised as a European Data Protection Seal with global applicability, including its extension as a certification mechanism under Art. 46 GDPR.

This means companies worldwide that are subject to the GDPR can now use Europrivacy certification to:
• demonstrate compliance of their data processing activities with GDPR requirements
• support international data transfers by demonstrating appropriate safeguards

📢 Join our upcoming webinar to explore what this means in practice. We’ll cover:
• how Europrivacy can now be applied internationally
• what this means for companies operating across borders
• how to use certification to demonstrate compliance and appropriate safeguards under Art. 46

👥 Speakers:
Sébastien Ziegler, President of Europrivacy International Board of Experts
Alain Herrmann, Commissioner, CNPD – Commission nationale pour la protection des données, Luxembourg
Giovanni Francescutti, Global Technical Manager, DNV – Business Assurance
Petra Ziegler, Senior Privacy and AI Trust Expert, Allianz
